Living and working in the Santa Maria Valley since Bob and his wife, Lillie, left Huntington Beach to retire in Santa Maria a decade ago, they've grown to love the beautiful climate and friendly people in their home town.

We thought nothing would ever beat the weather and beaches of Huntington Beach in Orange County but when you live on the Central Coast, you find the weather is drier, slightly cooler and there's definitely a slower pace which we enjoy at our age.

Even the grandkids who grew up in Southern California have packed up and moved north, opting for the easy lifestyle and slower pace Santa Maria and the Central Coast affords.

For those who think they could never leave L.A., they will discover it doesn't take long to adjust to the blue, powder puff skies, rolling hills and sight of cows in fields.  What usually happens is that once you leave, you dread going back to Los Angeles. The freeways, the crowds, traffic and city life are not so great once you taste the locally-grown wines and enjoy the tri-tip cooked over an oak pit.

Bob Stock took the plunge and has never looked back. He loves his home, has made lots of friends through Real Estate sales and hopes to help you discover the beauty of the region.
